We carry out Drone Lidar surveys, mainly over the intertidal zone to compliment our Mutibeam Bathymetric surveys. Although we often carry out wider scale surveys for our clinents.

Clydeside Surveys have four Commercial Drone Pilots in our company.

Most of our surveys are operated in the Specific Category.

Depending of altitude, we can cover over 1.0 SqKm in one standard flight.

The DJI Matrice 300 RTK is a top-tier drone with advanced video transmission, efficient battery system, extensive safety features, and strong payload support. It offers up to 55 minutes of flight time, triple-channel 1080p HD live feeds, and a hot-swappable dual-battery system for enhanced performance and versatility.


Reliable & Rugged

With an IP55 rating, the DJI M300 RTK is dustproof and waterproof, ensuring reliable operation in adverse weather conditions. It operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -20° to 50° C for around-the-clock operation in extreme environments.

Superior Endurance

With a 55 min flight time, the Matrice 300 RTK features a new TB65 dual-battery system, allowing battery hot swapping and continuous flights without powering off. Achieving up to 400 charge cycles, it minimises the cost per flight.

Versatile

With a payload capacity of 2.7 kg and three slots for simultaneous use, the Matrice 300 RTK can capture diverse datasets at once, accommodating a variety of applications. This design also allows for easy upgrades without the need to repurchase an entirely new drone.

Payload

For topographic surveys we use the DJI L1 Lidar system

Zenmuse L1 integrates frame LiDAR, a self-developed high-accuracy IMU system, and a 4/3 CMOS RGB mapping camera, providing DJI flight platforms with more precise, efficient, and reliable geospatial data acquisition. When used with DJI Terra, it delivers a turnkey solution for 3D data collection and high-accuracy post-processing.

Using realtime RTK, the data accuracy is +/- 2cm



In addition to topographic XYZ data, our drone captures 300% coverage Georeferenced photographs.
